The other day I went for a walk on the crown lands in Kendal. It was a beautiful day. It took about an hour to trek to the top of this hill but it was worth it. Unspoiled snow covers rolling hills and beyond, a very steep drop, perfect setting for a painting. A beautiful alteration of warm and cool colours begs the onlooker to come closer rather than just wonder whats beyond those trees?
